Gum care for a child

If your baby is taking food already endure that you provide cold foods for them during teething. The cold foods include yogurt, applesauce, or fruit. This will help soothe the gum of the child. Use a washcloth so that the baby can chew on it. The cold cloth helps reduce gum inflammation, you can massage the gum too using the wet cloth. The gums of a child are soft and so ensure that you offer items that will not harm the gums of the child. Teething biscuits are hygienic but ensure that after eating the biscuits the area is wiped with a cloth. This is to prevent cavities from forming and causing gum disease to the child.
